Incarcerated in Ensisheim prison for the murder of his wife Alexia, Jonathann Daval has just filed a complaint against his ex-in-laws for defamation, through his lawyer Randall Schwerdorffer. Explanations.
In a series titled Alexia our daughter, Alexia Daval’s family recounts the drama of the young woman’s murder by her husband Jonathann Daval. Found guilty by the courts, the latter is currently incarcerated at Ensisheim prison, where he frequented serial killers Patrice Alègre, Francis Heaulme and Guy Georges. But despite his incarceration, the Daval affair continues to experience certain twists and turns.
Recently, Alexia Daval’s family filed a complaint against Jonathann Daval for defamation. Indeed, his former brother-in-law Gregory Gay sued him after being named as responsible for the murder of Alexia in a previous instruction from Jonathann Daval. But the latter has just filed a complaint for defamation in turn. And this, following the broadcast onr Canal Plus from the documentary Alexia our daughter.

Jonathann Daval accused by his in-laws of having poisoned Alexia
In episode 4 of the series Alexia our daughterIsabelle Fouillot and her daughter Stéphanie tell “a new version”, according to the words of Randall Schwerdorffer, the prisoner’s lawyer. In this story, Jonathann Daval is designated “responsible for Alexia’s miscarriage”. In fact, the two women accuse her former husband of having poisoned Alexia. An element which had however been dismissed by the Court during the trial. According to the forensic doctor, the drugs found in the body of the deceased were in doses “infra-therapeutics”, or too weak to cause poisoning.

Jonathann Daval’s lawyer therefore did not appreciate this accusation which he judges in “total contradiction with the judgment of the Haute-Saône Assize Court”. As a reminder, the man was sentenced to 25 years of criminal imprisonment for murder and not assassination, which therefore does not include the notion of premeditation. Me Schwerdorffer then denounces “a series of complete disinformation on the Daval affair” near RTL. “We invent things to further darken the picture, to create another media story, alongside the judicial truth. We are completely transforming history. It’s no longer at all the same scope in terms of the file.” he explained.
