a set from an ultra cult saga has leaked, it’s going to be great!

A new LEGO set based on an iconic license, which has spanned generations, will be available this year. And we already have a preview with a first leak.

This is true from week to week, the year 2024 is going to hurt the wallet very much for LEGO fans. Every month, the firm redoubles its efforts to offer quality and quantity. Constructions of all kinds which can be completely new or based on cult works of video games, cinema etc. And one of the next sets, which will normally be released in the summer of 2024 if there is no delay, will once again exploit a completely cult franchise.

A beautiful LEGO set from July 2024 has already leaked!

The LEGO releases come one after the other and it often makes you want to break the bank, like with the DUNE set for example. In the coming months, the company will take some people back to childhood with a Transformers build. A new, cheaper Optimus Prime? An XXL Megatron? Neither of the two. According to a leak, a set Bumblebee will be available on July 1, 2024. Like the LEGO Optimus Prime, it will be possible to display this set in its robot or vehicle form. In this case, it will be a Beetle if it is the original design, but it could also be a Chevrolet Camaro. The information is unknown at this time.

On the other hand, the leak reveals the number of pieces for the LEGO Icons Bumblebee set. According to the leak, there will be 950 bricks, compared to 1508 for the previous set. But the price of this Transformers will not be the same at all and it will lighten your wallet. Normally, it will be priced at $89.99. Which should cost €89.99 or €99.99 when it is released in France. Unfortunately, no images have yet leaked. If you don’t know at all, you can get an overall idea thanks to the extract from the very nice spin-off Bumblebee with Hailee Steinfeld (see below). A feature film currently available on Netflix.

If you like Transformers and you’ve been wanting LEGO Optimus Prime for some time, watch out! The official store specifies that this set from the Icons range is becoming difficult to find. And this is not a warning to attract customers, but a reality. Each year, the Danish firm puts various parts on the shelf and the iconic robot will retire in 2025. As a reminder, the construction is made up of 1,508 parts and makes it possible to put the most famous Autobot in a combat or moving position, in truck mode therefore. It has 19 points of articulation and different accessories such as the Energon axe, the ion cannon or a jetpack.
