A shocking game and its entire license on sale on Steam
Its name, Postal 2. “One of the most controversial and shocking games of all time,” according to its studio. This ultra trashy and totally crazy FPS is currently on sale for less than €1 on Steam. Despite the controversies, Postal 2 and more generally the entire license is extremely appreciated. Just take a look at the reviews on Steam to be convinced. Curious or interested, if you were one day planning to take a look at this self-confessed babe, now is the time or never. Besides, all the other episodes of the series are also cheaper, like Postal Reduxan explosive spin-off offered for barely €1, or even Postal Brain Damaged which sells for -50%, just like the last episode of the saga, Postal 4. Be careful, be warned, Postal is not a series that will please everyone and the games are clearly not to be placed among all the hands.

Postal, a controversial franchise that has become cult
The Postal series was born on PC in the early 2000s and ended up making its home on Steam some time later. After a first episode that went a little unnoticed but managed to find a niche of fans, the Running With Scissors studio is back with Postal 2. A game that is now cult for many, especially because it literally unleashed the crowds upon its release. Banned in several countries, it becomes THE game of all scandals. Postal 2 is the story of a poor guy, the Postal dude, who is trying to make something with his ten fingers in his godforsaken town in the depths of America. Ultra vulgar and filthy, our “hero” will take on thankless tasks to earn a few dollars before everything goes to hell and the most WTF situations follow one another, making him an anti-hero in spite of himself.
Nothing too serious on paper, but in reality… Postal 2 surfs on very slippery themes for the time, such as terrorism, while the war in Iraq rages, with these cloned Taliban who attack the city in screaming. We also have the right to our share of gratuitous violence, filthy delusions, drugs or even prostitution… We have seen worse since, but for the time, making fun of terrorism and the USA by wrapping its satire in a mass of Pee-poo jokes go down pretty badly. In any case, with regard to part of the press and the general public, since despite its controversies, or thanks to them, Postal 2 is a real success. A very bad game that has become absolutely cult for an entire generation of players.
The game will be so popular that it will eventually have sequels, all available on Steam as well, and the audience is there every time. The last episode, Postal 4, is also rather recent and serves as a real return to basics after a slightly off-topic third episode that the studio decided to simply delete from the story.
