A showman died instantly, on the night of Friday to Saturday, after being hit by one of the wagons of his own carousel, reports France Bleu Paris. This is the “Crazy Mouse”, the emblematic roller coaster of the Foire du Trône, in the 12th arrondissement of the capital.
According to Le Parisien, the employee leaned over to retrieve a customer’s cap, before being hit in the head by a basket. The shock was fatal to him. Rescuers found him dead at half past midnight, according to local radio.
A brawl breaks out after the tragedy
Twenty witnesses, shocked, were taken care of by the firefighters. After the death of the showman, a fight broke out on the spot, as evidenced by videos posted on social networks. According to the daily, young people would have started to film the scene and to laugh, which would have annoyed the fairgrounds.
