Originally from Los Angeles, Kyle Gordy has been a sperm donor for eight years. Biological father of 46 children and involved in nine ongoing pregnancies, this 30-year-old American is currently on tour in Europe to offer “his help” to couples wanting to become parents.
“If anyone else seeks my help, I can travel to just about anywhere in Europe,” he announced in a video.
Passed in Denmark, Sweden, Scotland, England and, currently, in Germany, the sperm donor assures not to smoke, drink coffee or alcohol. He generally gives his sperm by insemination and sexual relations represent only about 10% of fertilizations.
“Some women prefer the traditional method because they don’t want to waste time and think it’s more effective. They ask me if we can just make love, I tell them that I am ready to do so and we exchange screening tests for STDs (Sexually transmitted diseases, Editor’s note)”, he explained.
On social networks, the American often shares pregnancy tests of the mothers to whom he gave his sperm. Moreover, Kyle Gordy recalled that he regularly receives news from his offspring and that he exchanges photos with the mothers in a dedicated group.
In addition, Kyle Gordy claims that he “doesn’t charge anything for his donations and says he does this to help”.
“I’m really enjoying the time here (in Germany), but it’s much harder to find the healthy, organic foods that I rely on to keep my sperm healthy,” commented Kyle Gordy.
Better sperm quality
Alice and Kathryn are part of these couples helped by Kyle Gordy. Both women say they are grateful to the American for helping them achieve their dream.
“We appreciated that he was open to contact with the child after birth. We want our child to have the opportunity to get to know his biological father,” Alice said, quoted by the DailyMail.
If the two women called on Kyle rather than a sperm bank, it was above all for the “freshness” of the specimen.
“Fresh sperm is more effective in achieving pregnancy than frozen sperm. We got pregnant in cycle one with Kyle and only had one donation,” Kathryn explained.
The sperm donor visited 13 US states to donate, including California, Oregon, Kansas, Alaska, Seattle, Florida, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Texas, Colorado, Illinois , Hawaii and North Carolina.
