“A suspicious substance”: a father suspected of an ignoble gesture towards his two children

The latter is suspected of having killed his two children, according to the General Directorate of National Security. The investigation will have to try to“elucidate the causes and circumstances of a suicide attempt by a 72-year-old French tourist, suspected of having committed premeditated homicide by injecting his two minor children with a suspicious substance”, said the DGSN in a press release.

The bodies of two children, of French nationality, aged 9 and 13 were discovered in a hotel room, located in Marrakesh. At their side, their father was found in a so-called comatose state. According to the survey, them corpses of the two children does not presentt no bumps or marks. No sign either of any violence on the body of the father who was transferred to the hospital. An autopsy will be carried out in the coming days on the bodies of two children.

But in the room of this retired nurse, a handwritten letter was found. In it, the motive for the crimes is mentioned, which would be family-related. A police source said used medical syringes were recovered from the hotel room. The mother of the two children was interviewed by the Moroccan judicial police. She was divorced from the father of her two children.
