This is the kind of testimony that we would never like to hear and yet, a young swimming star has just testified to extremely serious facts that happened to him. At only 22 years old, Mary Sophie Harvey is one of the rising stars of his sport. The young Canadian notably participated in the Tokyo Olympics in the summer of 2021 and recently she was in Hungary for the World Swimming Championships which took place in Budapest. If we thought that everything had gone well on the spot, this is obviously not the case if we are to believe the last publication of the young woman on Instagram.
In a post posted on Wednesday, Mary-Sophie Harvey, followed by more than 28,000 subscribers on the social network, decided to tell the story of the terrible ordeal she suffered. “The last day of the Worlds, I was drugged”reveals the young swimmer in the preamble of her long text to explain what happened to her. When she woke up, she was “completely lostwith my team manager and my doctor by my side”, she continues. She then indicates that she was out to celebrate her competition, but there is “four to six o’clock” of the evening she does not remember.

Upon her return to Quebec, Mary-Sophie Harvey, who had not been feeling well since that evening, discovered that she had a “dozen bruises” on the body. In her post, she adds several photos that show the many bruises she has on her legs. “I’m still afraid to think about what I don’t know about that night. I’m still somehow ashamed of what happenedand I think I always will be…. But I won’t let this event define who I am.”she adds.
