A 40-year-old teacher was attacked on Tuesday by a student with a knife in a high school in Caen but her life is not in danger, we learned from the FSU union. “A 40-year-old teacher was attacked by a student with a knife at Malherbe high school. The student was arrested by the police“, told AFP Jérôme Adell, departmental secretary of the FSU of Calvados.
“We don’t know if“the assault took place”in the hallway or when leaving the classroom“, he added. Questioned by AFP, the public prosecutor of Caen Amélie Cladière confirmed that a teacher had been attacked in a high school in Caen. The author was “arrested, no vital prognosis involved. I do not confirm anything else for the moment, neither the quality of pupil, nor the weapon“, she continued.

According to another unionized teacher, the victim teaches French. Lycée Malherbe is an establishment near the city center of Caen.
