(Boursier.com) — The government’s French strategy has a dual ambition in terms of the cloud: support the French and European offer so that champions emerge and encourage industrial cooperation guaranteeing both quality of service and data protection.
The government thus welcomed the joint announcement by Docaposte, Dassault Systems, Bouygues Telecom and the Banque des Territoires of an industrial digital project, which is part of this national strategy. This “trusted cloud” offer will notably be based on the Outscale technology of Dassault Systemswhich already benefits from the demanding SecNumCloud label.
The new 100% French company (NUMSPOT) has announced the operational launch of its offer in 2023, and partnerships open to other players… It affirms its ambition to be part of the “trusted cloud” strategy SecNumCloud and to strengthen the French offer of secure digital identity. It also makes salutary commitments in terms of interoperability and reversibility of contracts, fully in line with French and European guidelines in this area.
This offer will enrich the freedom of choice of companies using the cloud and will strengthen competition in this sector…
National Strategy
This partnership demonstrates that the national cloud strategy, financially supported by the France 2030 Investment Plan, promotes collaboration between players to bring out innovative industrial solutions.
Bruno Le Maire, Minister of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, commented: “The launch of this new trusted cloud offer is in line with the announcements I made on September 12 last in Strasbourg in favor of industrial and digital sovereignty. I call on all administrations and companies to seize the sovereign and quality offers of which NUMPOST will be part, in order to protect our most sensitive data. Most of the major players have now adopted the French doctrine of trusted cloud and this should inspire us on a European scale”.
