One of the many LEGO sets from January 2024 is officially on the market, and it is once again from an absolutely iconic license.
The LEGO releases for January 2024 hold some very nice surprises in the video game and geek world in general. Since this week, Super Mario has returned in force with several sets of expansions, Sonic also offered some very nice sets, but other legendary brands were at their side. Constructions linked to Jurassic World, Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars or Minecraft, have come to fill the already massive catalog of the Danish company. One of the new sets could well challenge your resolution to curb your spending on colored bricks, if that was one of your commitments for the new year.
A LEGO Marvel set still essential for fans
The Spider-Man Mask (76285) catches your eye and we understand you. But this isn’t the only LEGO set that could cause you to do the irreparable thing – spend more money after the holiday season. The Danish firm has put online a great X-Men set which represents the X-Jet, the mutants’ ship. A construction which does not contain many parts, 359, but which displays good dimensions. More than 8 cm high, 30 cm long and 25 cm wide, that’s not nothing even if it doesn’t equal the biggest LEGO sets.
To reproduce the X-Men’s X-Jet, LEGO relied on the future Disney+ series X-Men 97. In the bag, you will find all the bricks to assemble the private plane and equip it with two stud shooters on each side of the aircraft, and two spring-loaded shooters to be placed under the wings. And there are even two compartments to store the studs, but also Wolverine’s adamantium claws. The legendary Marvel superhero, who we will (finally) see again in Deadpool 3, is present in the box as a mini-figure alongside his protégé Malicia, Cyclops and Magneto. Not bad is not it ? And now the subject that often hurts: the price. The LEGO X-Men X-Jet 76281 is sold for €84.99 and is still in stock at the time of writing.
