When it doesn’t want to… PS Plus subscribers who had had FF7 Remake for free on PS4 still see Intergrade and its DLC pass under their noses.
Oh the bad surprise. On July 19, the first new official additions of PS Plus Premium & Extra are available to all subscribers. Except that several PS5 players find themselves on the bench, with the impossibility of downloading FF7 Remake Intergrade.
Can’t get FF7 Remake Intergrade on PS Plus
New disappointment for the new PS Plus. While the launch had a few ups and downs, including retro games that became unplayable due to an update, the offers are still acting up. This time it is the long-time subscribers who are having it. Those who picked up Final Fantasy 7 for free when it was offered to PS Plus last year find themselves in a bind: they cannot download the PS5 upgrade, FF7 Remake Intergrade as part of their subscription.
The game is however available as a new addition of PS Plus Premium & Extra but nothing helps. We tested on our side as well and same story, no option allows us to get our hands on the game and its DLC, considered “unavailable”. A bug which is not really one and which was controversial at the time since Square Enix had forced players who had had the game for free on PS4 to go to the cash register for the PS5 upgrade, before turning around. .
This time however, no justifiable reason for the publisher since FF7 Remake Intergrade is part of the PS Plus Extra and Premium July 2022 games. It should therefore be accessible to all subscribers. No doubt the publishers forgot this little disappointment and should have simply integrated the DLC into the catalog, but once again the same players find themselves sidelined. We imagine that one of them will soon take the floor to explain the situation.
