LEGO 2K Drive, developed in collaboration between 2K and Danish toy manufacturer LEGO, is a major innovation in the world of arcade racing games. Launched in May 2023, this game spearheaded a partnership involving several titles. LEGO 2K Drive gets a nice update
The latest update, entitled Update 5, enriches the game with several important new features. Among them, the Stargaze Summit, a brand new snowy biome located in Bricklandia, offers players seven new races, three challenges and nine On-The-Go events. These new features don’t come alone: they are accompanied by exclusive rewards such ase new vehicles, drivers and Special Flairs. The latter, new to the update, are items that can be attached to vehicles to improve gameplay, offering features such as alternative camera angles, collectible detectors or even speed boosters. Good news for those who were able to pick it up on December’s PS Plus on time.
Two new game modes are also appearing: Time Trial and Goal Karts Hockey, the latter supporting local split-screen play as well as online multiplayer. Leaderboards are expanded and modded vehicle upload functionality has been added to the Creators Hub, improving the game’s community experience.
Many fewer bugs
This update is not only limited to the content: it also brings stability improvements and fixes 18 bugs, thus strengthening the reliability of the game. With these numerous additions and corrections, LEGO 2K Drive continues to assert itself as a must-have for fans of arcade racing games, offering a rich and varied experience that is difficult to match 100%.
