It’s back to school day for Prince George and Princess Charlotte. But if fans of the crowned heads expected to see photos of Kate and William’s two children for the occasion, it’s missed! We explain why.

To live happy, live hidden ? This Thursday, September 9 is a big day for Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The two children of Kate Middleton and Prince William are indeed back to school. The little crowned heads will continue to study at Thomas’s Battersea School in London, one of the most prestigious establishments in England. Prince Louis, 3, is joining Willocks Nursery School for the second year in a row.

While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have shared photos of their children’s back-to-school year in previous years, it certainly won’t be this year. Indeed, according to the magazine People, Kate and William make it a point of honor that their cherubs grow as “normally” as possible. This requires respecting their privacy and therefore not publicizing their return to school. It must be said that back to school can already be stressful for children. A photo shoot for the press could add some pressure to them.

Keep them out of sight

This decision may also have something to do with Kate and William wanting to keep Prince George out of sight for a while. The 8-year-old boy appeared at the Euro 2020 final last July, accompanied by his parents. However, he had been the target of a wave of cyberstalking on social networks, because of his dress. In addition, the American channel HBO Max unveiled this summer a satirical series on the royal family of England, with the hero… Prince George. In this show, the future king is ridiculed and takes for his rank. Comments and images that seem to have reinforced Kate and William’s choice to keep their children away from media life.
