A Warzone bug could ruin the game

Stopping ammo has always been a big topic of debate between Warzone and Modern Warfare players. But this bug makes the situation even worse.

For a long time MW and Warzone players have complained that the stopping power ammo is too powerful, which is especially frustrating in regular Warzone BR modes when you don’t have the option to just respawn and rush back into action.

As a result of these frustrations, the Stopping Ammo field buff was removed entirely in November 2021, though it has since returned in various modes.

With recent updates, stopping power ammo has become a much bigger issue than before. Indeed it harms the players who use it almost as much as those who come up against it.

Stopping ammo has long been the focus of discussion in Warzone.

According to several Modern Warfare and Warzone players, this stopping power ammo bug has seeped into both games, literally knocking them out of their parties and constantly causing unnecessary deaths.

It’s unclear what exactly causes the issue, but when players use Stopping Ammo, the class selection menu appears, preventing them from moving or retaliating against enemies without closing the menu.

Although stopping power ammo is currently only available in Warzone’s Plunder mode, it becomes a debilitating issue for players in this mode who want to use field enhancement. Not to mention the multiplayer modes of MW where it is essential to have the fastest possible reactions.

How to Fix Warzone’s Stopping Power Ammo Bug

Luckily, there is a workaround to prevent Stopping Ammo from popping up your loadout selection menu.

You should switch to your secondary weapon just before the reload animation ends. Once you return to the weapon with the stopping power ammo, it should be fully loaded with the field buff and no menu should appear.
