A Call of Duty: Warzone player has taken advantage of a new Vanguard prop exploit to turn Modern Warfare’s FiNN into a monstrosity.
The latest exploit in Warzone is a bug that allows you to add a Vanguard perk to any weapon in the game. Basically, that means six attachments on Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War weapons or 11 on Vanguard weapons.
This cheat has already allowed players to create ridiculous loadouts.
Vanguard’s Gung-Ho skill lets you fire any weapon while sprinting. Normally, this skill is reserved for specific SMGs in the 2022 title. Today, a player used the exploit to turn some antiquated weapons into close-range monsters.

Modern Warfare’s FiNN has some notoriety. Indeed the heavy LMG is still popular through its raw power. Popular loadouts include the unique XRK Chainsaw stock, which transforms this heavy weapon and forces it to be fired at sight.
Although the FiNN is quite strong at close range, mobility issues make it less useful than SMGs like the Welgun. As you can see in the “stmxvii” images above, that completely changes once you add the Gung-Ho perk.
Using the exploit, stm was able to artificially enhance FiNN movements. With this buggy loadout, the impressive recoil control and hipfire weapon damage are combined with the ability to shoot while sprinting, decimating enemies in its path.

In a February 28 tweet, Raven Software explained that they are investigating the bug.
Hopefully this will be fixed soon. Indeed, as original as it is, the fact remains that it massively unbalances the game.
