An imaginative Warzone fan recently replicated Caldera under Verdansk Base, and it directly made us want to play this map.
Ever since Verdansk transitioned to Caldera when Vanguard was integrated into Warzone, reviews for this new map have quickly been very mixed.
Many players feel that this map is way too big and that the different locations on it are too far apart and too spread out on the sides of the island, leaving a huge gap in the middle.
And while many fans have preferred to turn to Rebirth Island while others are pushing for a return of Verdansk, one player recently spawned Caldera in base Verdansk form.
Since its introduction in Warzone, Caldera has never been unanimous among players.
What might Caldera look like in the form of Verdansk?
Reddit user “LeBradyyy” recently took over the base background from Verdansk while adding the locations present on Caldera, and the result is quite interesting.
Replacing some iconic Verdansk locations such as Superstore with Sub Pen, Downtown with Capital, and Airport with Airfield, Caldera’s depiction on Verdansk’s bases definitely makes you want to play.
This creation shared on Reddit was directly appreciated by Battle Royale fans who showed in the comments their desire to play on this map, although unfortunately this is impossible.
