Tag Heuer has unveiled new watches in its Connected Caliber E4 range. Enough to allow the wealthy to enjoy a nice design, but functions that remain very classic.

If Tag Heuer is well known to fans of mechanical watches, the Swiss watchmaker has adapted to the trend of connected watches for a few years. Since 2015, it has been offering its own range of connected watches, still equipped with Google’s Wear OS system. This Thursday, the brand also announced exciting news. Particularity of Tag Heuer, the watches are very high-end models.

Three new Tag Heuer Connected Caliber E4 were presented this Thursday by the Swiss brand. All three are watches with a black titanium case. For the Swiss firm, these are the lightest watches ever designed by Tag Heuer.

Note also that the three models benefit from Wear OS in version 2 when they are released, but the manufacturer promises an update later this year to the latest version of Google’s system, Wear OS 3. The watches are also developed with the aim ofdisplay your collectible virtual artwork on your wrist with verified proof of ownership“. In other words, they allow you to transfer your NFTs to display them as a dial on the watch.

Among the health measures, the three watches take advantage of a heart rate monitor to assess heart rate, but also a gyroscope and an accelerometer for movements and the number of steps. GPS tracking is also included to precisely measure the distance traveled during your trail, bike or running outings.

Watches with fairly classic characteristics

Regarding the differences between each model, we will have two 42 mm versions identical in appearance and a 45 mm model. The two 42 mm models offer an edge-to-edge Oled screen with a definition of 416 x 416 pixels for a diameter of 1.28 inches. The announced autonomy is one day.

The 42 mm Golf Edition version is more golf-oriented with a white silicone strap, a black leather strap and three free golf balls. It also integrates more than 40,000 golf courses worldwide and can analyze swings, clubs used or position on the golf course.

For the 45mm Sport Edition version, Tag Heuer adopted a different design with a bezel around the 1.39-inch Oled screen displaying 454 x 454 pixels. This version is also more tailored for trail running and hiking thanks to an integrated barometer that will assess the altitude and the difference in altitude traveled.

The three Tag Heuer Connected Caliber E4 watches will be available in February. The 42mm classic version is priced at $2350, the 42mm Gold Edition at $2500 and the 45mm Sport Edition at $2600.
