On October 6, 2022, the presentation conference for the new Google smartphones will be held. And in an attempt to counter leaks and maintain control of its communication, the firm reveals its two flagships in short videos. If the latter now have almost no more secrets for us with regard to their design, this does not prevent Google from revealing the stylistic specificities in licked videos. Note also that if the manufacturer had already shown the back, this is the first time that it has revealed its smartphones from every angle.
As expected, the Series 7 looks a lot like its predecessor, which had a radical design change. At the rear, the glass band hosting the photo modules changes to metal, just to showcase them better. The thickness of this block – which had divided – does not seem to have been reduced in passing. Google videos also allow you to discover the new colors, less original than in 2021, but still just as nice. To see if Google will release them all at home or if we will only have the right to the classic black and white.
But Google may try to counter the leaks, some slip through the cracks thanks to (or because of, it depends) smart guys or online retailers. Amazon is implicated today since the prices of the Google Pixel 7 were inadvertently posted online on the Spanish version of the site, as noted 9to5 Google, after a similar leak on the US version of Amazon. It allows you to get an idea of the prices of the next two flagships.
And, good surprise, these would not increase compared to the Pixel 6. Thus, the Pixel 7 would start at 649 € when the Pixel 7 Pro would be displayed at 899 €, an aggressive price placement. The Amazon product sheet also points to a sale scheduled for October 13. It will therefore be necessary to wait a week between the announcement of the products and their actual availability.
