Shakira (46), Diddy (53) and the girl group Blackpink each received four nominations.

Germany can hope

According to the press release, more first-nominated stars can look forward to one or more nominations than at any other VMA award ceremony before. It’s up for grabs for Video of the Year and Song of the Year, as well as for direction, visual effects and choreography.
