A 19-year-old young man was arrested Wednesday evening around 9 p.m. in Voiron (Isère) after a 20-year-old Grenoble woman alerted the controller of a TER train linking Lyon to Grenoble for touching, confirmed several sources close to the file at Figaro. An investigation has been opened for sexual assault.
Custody
The suspect, an Algerian in an irregular situation on French territory, was taken into custody at the Voiron police station. During his hearing, he denied the facts, evoking a consented relationship, specifies the parquet floor of Grenoble. Referred this Friday, he was nevertheless remanded in custody pending his trial on March 20.
