After several weeks of waiting, theOperation Solar Raid is about to land in Rainbow Six: Siege. As a reminder, the latter adds a new Operator, Solis, who is a rather defensive Agent and will appeal to those who like to play as a team. Rainbow Six: Siege players will also be able to enjoy a new map, namely Nighthaven Lab. This is a fairly original map, highlighting decision-making, with fluid and tactical rotations. Many other things will be introduced, such as Ranked mode 2.0, but also cross-play and cross-progression, two long-awaited features.
However, as always, download times and especially patch sizes vary. Find all the details below, in order to be ready at the right time.

Ubisoft hasn’t officially communicated on this yet, but if we refer to Past Ops, PC gamers will be able to download the update first, once the maintenance ends, which will take place at 3 p.m. Xbox consoles will then follow at 4 p.m. and PlayStation at 5 p.m. As for the size of this update, Ubisoft has not yet shared the information, but several gigas of data should be available for download. We will update the article as soon as possible.
On the maintenance side, the servers should be offline for at least an hour, as very often. This Operation corresponds to Season 4 of Year 7 of Rainbow Six: Siege.

For those wishing to discover the patch notes to learn about the various changes, you will have to wait a few more hours. Ubisoft will release it sometime on December 6, but you can still preview the bigger changes on the official site.
