When Heinz Münger (49) from the Rottenschwil Trychler group opens the mailbox a few days ago, he finds a nasty letter. An anonymous threat has been received, reports “Argovia Today”. Trychler are “death messengers,” the letter says, and: “Vaccination opponents are mass murderers.”
“When I read that, I was shocked. That’s not funny at all, »says Münger to Blick. You don’t know how seriously the person really means the threats. “None of us knows what else the author has in mind. That triggers a slightly queasy feeling.”
Nothing to do with the Freedom Trychlers
The author probably assumed that his group had something to do with the Corona-critical freedom trychlers who appear at Corona demonstrations all over Europe. But that’s not the case. ‘These aren’t our people. The Freedom Trychlers misrepresent us as a group and give us a bad reputation.”
Münger says that those who are critical of their Trychler group are welcome to ask questions and talk to them. “So far, however, no one has contacted us.”
Clarifying discussion desired
The members of the Trychler group in Rottenschwil also feel a bit threatened by the letter. “That’s why we are now checking whether we will file a criminal complaint,” says Münger. But it would be better to have a quiet conversation with the author and clarify the matter.
Because, as Münger emphasizes again: “You can talk to us. And we have nothing to do with the freedom trychlers.”
