The last weeks, days and hours in Aaron Carter’s life paint a tragic picture between hopes and setbacks.

At the end of last week, US pop star Aaron Carter (1987-2022), the little brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter (42), was found dead in the bathtub of his home in Lancaster, California. He was only 34 years old. Gradually, more and more supposed insights into the tragedy come to light, which seem to trace Carter’s life between ambitions, good intentions and inner demons.

Aaron Carter clearly had deep intentions to get his life and career back on track. TMZ reportsthat he was back in the recording studio just a few weeks before he passed away to record new music and even a new album. His manager Taylor Helgeson revealed to the site that his protégé was working on a direct follow-up to his 2018 record Love.

The new project also included a reconciliation with his prominent brother Nick Carter. He said he intended to use music to show his estranged family, and especially Nick, how much he loves them. This coincides with reports from other platforms, according to which the brothers have finally spoken out and approached each other again after years of disputes and mutual accusations.

Unsuccessful fight against addiction?

Carter was also in withdrawal therapy in the days before his death. According to the report, however, he missed the last session, which was scheduled for last Friday. The star was found dead at his home the following Saturday.

According to new police sources Officials are said to have found cans containing compressed air scattered throughout the house. It is currently being investigated whether this could have something to do with the death of the musician. Improper use of such compressed air cans, such as inhaling the contents, can result in serious bodily harm.

Reports circulated about five years ago that the star might have an addiction problem. So reported “The Blast” in 2017that a friend of Aaron Carter called the police at the time and claimed that the musician had inhaled “computer duster”, one of the said cans.
