(CercleFinance.com) – The European Commission has authorized, under the Community merger regulation, the creation of a joint venture by ABB (Switzerland) and Niedax (Germany).
The operation primarily involves the design, manufacturing and supply of cable tray systems in North America.
The Commission concluded that the notified transaction would not raise competition concerns, given its limited impact on the European Economic Area. The notified transaction was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
