ABB: the Learning Factory industry 4.0 inaugurated in Berlin


(CercleFinance.com) – German Chancellor Olaf Scholz yesterday visited ABB’s training center in Berlin to officially inaugurate the centre’s extension building. The German Chancellor saw how ABB’s ‘Learning Factory Industry 4.0’, in this new multifunctional building, is transforming education and training opportunities for technology companies.

During his visit, the Chancellor was able to see the benefits of ABB’s strategy to regularly modernize its two German training centers in Heidelberg and Berlin.

‘ABB’s training center is a true flagship of our globally respected dual training,’ said Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
“It is this investment in training that enables ABB to innovate and operate profitably in Germany, now and in the future,” continued Peter Voser, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ABB. ABB.

In the new training year, 359 talents will start an apprenticeship or dual training at ABB. Nationally, 1,153 young people are being trained at ABB, of which 789 are trained for approximately 250 partner companies.
