The Swedish pop band ABBA didn’t just join TikTok. All of the group’s songs are now also on the platform.

Sweden’s cult musical export ABBA is now also at TikTok! The band around Agnetha Fältskog (71), Björn Ulvaeus (76), Benny Andersson (74) and Anni-Frid Lyngstad (75), which has helped shape pop history since the 1970s, is now making its entire music catalog available to everyone Available to users. The social media platform, which is all about short video clips, announced this on August 30th.

At the beginning of the year everyone was talking about the #DancingQueenChallenge. Users rearranged the chorus of the song again and again and, according to TikTok, reached a total of more than 160 million views. Now fans of ABBA can use all of the group’s hits for their clips – including “Take a Chance on Me”, “The Winner Takes it All”, “Dancing Queen” and “Voulez-Vous”.

New songs on Thursday?

As also on Twitter, ABBA also announced news for September 2nd with a short clip. The four of them thank the fans for waiting and explain that “the journey” is about to begin. Supporters of the band speculate, among other things, that it could be fresh music. Ulvaeus had previously confirmed that new songs should be released this year.
