ABC Arbitrage: little changed after unsurprising results – 03/21/2023 at 11:57

(CercleFinance.com) – The alternative management company ABC Arbitrage says it benefited last year from volatility above its historical average, a market parameter favorable to its activities.

In 2022, ABC Arbitrage recorded net income group share of 29.2 million euros, up from the 28 million euros generated at the end of the previous financial year.

However, income from current activity fell to 61.2 million euros, compared with 64.1 million euros in 2021.

The group says it expects a final dividend of 0.11 euro per share, i.e. a total distribution of 0.41 euro for the 2022 financial year, i.e. a distribution rate of 83%.

ABC also presented its new strategic plan called ‘Springboard 2025’ for the next three years, aiming to generate cumulative net results over three years of more than 100 million euros with an annual ROE above 15%.

At the end of its ‘ABC 2022’ plan for the years 2020, 2021 and 2022, the company had generated 92 million euros in cumulative net profit in three years, with annual ROE significantly above the 15% threshold.

Despite the tremors that have recently shaken the markets, ABC Arbitrage indicates that the pace of activity of the group in the first quarter of 2023 is, as in 2022, below that of 2021 due to low volatility.

On the stock market, the title ABC Arbitrage changed little (+0.3%) following this publication when the small cap index rose by 1.4%.

Since the start of the year, the value has lost 3%, showing a market capitalization of 370 million euros.
