Abducted, a little girl miraculously saved thanks to her tablet

A terrible tragedy may have been avoided. As reported by the American channel 6abc.comin an article published Thursday, March 30, a 11 year old girl was the target of a kidnapping, Sunday March 26, in Pennsylvania (United States). While was riding a bicycle and was going to her sister’s house, the young teenager was kidnapped by a man. The latter took advantage of the fact that the child had stopped at a gas station to take him away. The police tracked him down the day after the incident.

As our colleagues detail, they managed to geolocate the location of the victim thanks to the iPad tablet that she had in her possession. The abductor of the child, a 40-year-old, was arrested by the police while he was at his home and then placed in detention. This individual is accused of having lured the girl into her vehiclebefore taking him home, according to elements of the investigation cited by the same media.

The girl was sexually assaulted

The little girl, questioned by the police about what had happened to her, confided that the individual, after having taken her to his house, had inflicted sexual touching on her. Quoted by 6abc.com, a source clarified that the young teenager had explained that her kidnapper “is silent rubbed on his leg and touched his belly under his shirt”. Also according to his testimony, he then told him “thathe was going to take her to a friend“. For his part, throughout his interrogation, the respondent denied having touched the child. He assured her that he simply offered to take her by car to where she wanted to go.

The events brought to our attention and related above are unfortunately not uncommon. So, two kidnapping attempts have recently been reported in France, in the Hautes-Pyrénées, in the space of less than a week. A few days ago, the gendarmerie drew up the composite portrait of an individual. An investigation was opened, before the authorities launched an appeal for witnesses.
