2: non-financial data – to measure the commercial momentum of its activities, the Group uses, among other things, the valued amount of orders taken over a given period. This indicator of commercial dynamics represents the total of all orders recorded over the period mentioned and compared with the same period for the previous year.

For the 3th quarter 2021/22, ABEO achieved a turnover of €52.2 million, up 13.1% including the integration of Eurogym for 1.7% (2 months). Organic growth remains solid at 10.0% despite an environment that continues to suffer the effects of the health crisis. In a context of business rebound, ABEO had to deal with strong tensions within the value chain and the Group’s production sites leading to delivery delays. Currency effects were favorable by 1.5% over the quarter.

The sports department recorded its best quarter in volume at constant scope since the start of the health crisis, with revenue of €27.3 million, up 16.2% (11.7% organic). Growth is driven by a continued recovery in Gymnastics activities, a marked acceleration in the Benelux zone and the successful integration of Eurogym.

The division Sportainment & Climbing continues to ramp up with a record volume of turnover since the start of the health crisis, up 43.6% over the quarter. The momentum of recovery, observed in the second quarter, is confirmed in the core business activities as well as in the sports equipment market in the United States.

Finally, the quarterly turnover of the Changing room division was down 9.4% over the period given a demanding basis of comparison. The 4th quarter of 2021/22 will benefit from the good commercial momentum observed in this division.

Thus, at the end of the first 9 months of the 2021/22 financial year, ABEO achieved a turnover of €147.9 million, i.e. a growth of 13.8% compared to the same period of the previous financial year. . As of December 31, 2021, organic growth stood at 12.5%, the integration of Eurogym and currency effects contributed 0.6% and 0.7% respectively.

Favorable outlook

The volume of orders for 3th quarter of the 2021/22 financial year is very well oriented and is back to pre-health crisis levels. Thus, since the start of the financial year, commercial activity has been very dynamic across all divisions with cumulative order intake as of December 31, 2021 amounting to €163.6 million, up sharply by 29. 7% and accelerating in the third quarter.

The Group’s growth rate since the beginning of the financial year combined with well-oriented order intake allow ABEO to reiterate its full confidence in the pursuit of a dynamic activity accompanied by a solid operational performance.
