Abi (“The Voice”): his moving secrets about his disabled sister: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

Her suave voice, her elegance and her XXL sensitivity put fever on the plateau of TF1 every Saturday evening. And it is almost logical that Abi was crowned winner of the ninth season of The Voice, Saturday June 13. The shy English teacher was able to win over jurors, the public and viewers at each of his performances, obtaining the majority of the votes (53.4%) against the other finalists. A plebiscite celebrated happily in the arms of its coach, Pascal Obispo, and this, forgetting somewhat the barrier gestures inherent in this somewhat special period. But this intensity did not drop an iota when Abi found his family, who supported him throughout this incredible adventure.

"I want to enjoy it all with her"

"They all told me that they knew and that they were calm about my victory. They believe in me and support me enormously. They were right", said the native of Haiti in Télé Star, he who has not left the family cocoon located in the Val d'Oise. This success made a member of his entourage even happier: his older sister, handicapped since childhood as a victim of meningitis which left after-effects on his brain. "Unfortunately, my princess does not have the cognitive skills to realize my victory", he explained during this interview. "She is still in a specialized reception house so I haven't been able to see her since confinement. I want to take advantage of all that with her. We share moments, moments of silence and we talk things through the heart." Of heart and purity, it will be question in the first album of this seasoned musician (saxophone, piano, drums).
