Ua real shock wave. In the United States, the Supreme Court is considering reversing the right to abortion nationwide. A constitutional right anchored in law since 1973. It is a visibly shaken Elizabeth Warren who said she was “angry”, “upset” and “determined” that such a law does not pass. The politician attacked the Conservatives directly, accusing them of having cleverly prepared their coup. According to her, conservatives have been “plotting” for decades to get a “majority of (conservative) Supreme Court justices” to ratify a law “that the majority of Americans don’t want.”
A decision that could affect “the poorest women”
Elizabeth Warren also unleashed her anger alongside protesters outside the Supreme Court, shaking her fist vigorously, and stressing that such a decision would have dramatic repercussions for the poorest women. “Wealthy women can fly to a state where abortion is legal. They can leave the country. The poorest women will be hardest hit. It will be all the more difficult for abused women, women who have been raped […] women who already hold two jobs to take care of their children. This Supreme Court just said they don’t care,” she yelled.
“This will fall on the poorest women in our country. This will fall on young women who have been abused, who are victims of incest.”

On Tuesday, Joe Biden himself raised his voice, declaring the right to abortion a fundamental “right”, and calling on Americans to vote for him in the legislative elections in November in order to thwart the plans of conservative judges to the Supreme Court.
