(CercleFinance.com) – Accenture today announced its intention to acquire Optimind, an independent consulting firm based in Paris. Financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed.
Founded in 2000, Optimind provides consulting services and solutions to help insurance companies, banks and large enterprises meet the challenges of competitiveness, transformation and regulation.
Optimind, winner of the 2022 EcoVadis gold medal for its corporate social responsibility policy, has more than 350 professionals, including more than 110 actuaries, serving its clients in France and Luxembourg.
Olivier Girard, Head of Market Unit for Accenture France & Benelux, said: ‘This acquisition will complement Accenture’s finance and risk management capabilities. ‘
Christophe Eberle, Managing Director and Founder of Optimind, added: “Joining Accenture will allow us to expand our global presence and create new business opportunities for our company and our people. ‘
The acquisition requires prior consultation with relevant works councils as well as regulatory approval and would be subject to customary closing conditions.
