Unfortunately, repair work on the roof of a house for a 56-year-old from Stroheim came to a fatal end. His ladder slipped away, and the man fell more than 6 meters. Rescue workers could do nothing more for him.
The 56-year-old carried out repair work on the gable roof of his family home around noon on Saturday. He leaned an aluminum ladder against the gutter on the first floor terrace and climbed up. There he wanted to replace the roof tiles in the lower area of the roof that had been damaged by the storm. A relative found someone who had fallen down. During this work, the ladder suddenly slipped away and the man fell from a height of around six meters into the garden. The victim was found around 2:45 p.m. by a relative.
