Tragic accident early Monday evening in the Tyrolean Inzing (district Innsbruck-Land): A 76-year-old motorcyclist probably fell due to a medical emergency and crashed into a tree. After the local was taken to the Innsbruck clinic by the rescue service, he succumbed to his serious injuries there.
The accident happened shortly after 5:30 p.m.: The 76-year-old Tyrolean was riding his motorcycle in Inzing on the L11 in the direction of Innsbruck when he went over the right edge of the road on a straight through no fault of his own – probably due to a medical emergency crashed into the tree. After resuscitation in the clinic “The injured person was then resuscitated by the rescue workers and the emergency doctor and taken to the Innsbruck clinic for further treatment,” according to the investigators. On Tuesday morning, the police reported that the pensioner had unfortunately passed away.
