A 26-year-old was seriously injured in an accident at work in Brixlegg on Sunday morning. The man stumbled and fell on the back of his head. He had to be taken to the hospital.
Shortly after 10 a.m. the worker was busy lifting a copper block out of a mold with an indoor crane. “With the help of an iron bar, he tried to loosen the block wedged in the mold,” the police said. Taken to the hospitalBecause of the sudden release of the casting, the 26-year-old had to step back, stumbled and fell on the back of his head. He received first aid from the ambulance and was taken to the hospital in Kufstein with serious injuries.
