On Thursday evening in Hard, two cars crashed head-on into each other at the intersection of Rheinstrasse and Landstrasse. A 34-year-old driver from Germany, who was traveling with his family, overlooked the car of a Swiss couple while turning left.
All six people involved in the accident, including two children (one and six years old), sustained unspecified injuries in the collision. They were taken to the Bregenz State Hospital for further examinations. Both vehicles involved in the accident were a total loss and had to be towed away. An alcohol test with the handlebars was negative in each case.
