(Boursier.com) — The company Rubyrock Capital Co., Limitedbased in Hong Kong and controlled by JinJiang International Holdings Co., Limited in China, declared to the AMF that it had fallen below the threshold of 10% of the company’s voting rights Accor on March 19, 2024. After this crossing, Rubyrock Capital holds 13,078,324 shares Accor representing 24,456,648 voting rights, or 5.18% of the capital and 7.79% of the voting rights. This threshold crossing results from a transfer of shares Accor off-market, according to the statement.

Rubyrock Capital is controlled at the highest level by the Chinese hotel group JinJiang International Holdings, itself in the hands of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. The irruption of the Chinese group into the capital of AccorHotels in 2015 had sparked much speculation. The group gained 15% of the French hotel giant’s stake the following year, while specifying that it did not wish to take control. According to the latest declarations, it is now a disengagement of the Chinese group which is confirmed.
