(CercleFinance.com) – Accor announces the appointment of Omer Acar as Chief Executive Officer of Raffles & Orient Express, effective March 1, 2023. A specialist in luxury hotels, he was notably Chief Executive Officer Europe and Americas of Katara Hospitality.
He will bring to Accor all his expertise as well as his passion for brands, and will help the Raffles and Orient Express brands to establish their reputation around the world and to continue their international development, explains the French hotel group.
Based in New York, Omer Acar will report directly to Sébastien Bazin within the Luxury & Lifestyle executive committee. In order to strengthen the influence and reputation of the group in the United States, he will also be responsible for representing Accor on the North American market.
