(CercleFinance.com) – Accor announces that it has completed the sale of its residual stake in H World Group for $460 million.
The cumulative disposal value since 2019 has reached $1.2 billion, compared to an initial investment of less than $200 million.
Following this transaction, Accor no longer holds any shares in the capital of H World Group.
The master-franchise agreement enabled the opening in China of 450 budget and mid-range hotels, mainly under the ibis, Novotel and Mercure brands.
