A week after his last “Wetten,dass..?” moderation, Thomas Gottschalk will again host a Saturday evening show.
Fans don’t have to wait long to see him again after Thomas Gottschalk’s (73) last “Wetten,dass..?” edition (ZDF) on November 25th. Because just one Saturday later, the next entertainment show with him as presenter is on the program. Together with his colleague Victoria Swarovski (30), Gottschalk will host the gala evening “Disney 100 – The Big Anniversary Show” (RTL) on December 2nd.
Classic films, celebrities and world-famous film songs
The two take viewers on a journey through 100 years of Disney history, as the broadcaster announced today, October 16th, the actual birthday of the Mouse Group. “Starting with Walt Disney and his invention of the most famous mouse in film history, through the first animated film ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ as well as animal classics such as ‘101 Dalmatians’, Pixar films and ‘Finding Nemo’.” But it will also be about blockbusters like “Pirates of the Caribbean” or “Avatar: The Way of Water” as well as the “Star Wars” saga and the Marvel films, both of which also belong to the Disney family.
Celebrity guests will also sit on this show couch. The production has revealed in advance: Giovanni Zarrella, Motsi Mabuse, Michael Bully Herbig, Riccardo Simonetti and Palina Rojinski. And Mickey and Minnie Mouse are there as guests of honor.
But that’s not all, Disney also includes world-famous film music. “Yvonne Catterfeld and Tom Beck open the show with their interpretation of the Disney classic ‘Beauty and the Beast’, Alexander Klaws sings ‘My heart belongs to you’ from the musical ‘Tarzan’, and Sasha and little Julius bring the stage with ‘Probiers with “coziness” from the film “The Jungle Book” to shake,” promises RTL. Giovanni Zarrella will also perform the hit “Circle of Life” from the film “The Lion King”.
