AcerPure: Acer takes an interest in well-being with a range of air purifiers and fans

Acer breathes new life into its catalog by releasing a range of air purifiers and fans. Composed of three models, the collection focuses on health and well-being, new territory for the Taiwanese manufacturer.

It’s no secret that indoor air is more polluted than outdoor air. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), it is even eight times higher. Adding to this the ambient pollution which continues to increase and the number of allergy sufferers on the rise, the market for air purifiers can only be attractive. Acer has understood this well. The Taiwanese manufacturer is releasing AcerPure, a range of air purifiers and fans available in France from July 2022.

Among the three new models, the AcerPure Cozy will be offered at €150. This fan projects air at a distance of 15 m in all directions. Using a magnetic remote control, like that of the famous Dyson, the user can choose horizontal or vertical rotation. It is also able to determine the power of the flow among the 12 intensities proposed. A timer function grants the possibility of stopping the device after X minutes; ideal for the night, for example. This is all the more true since the AcerPure Cozy is very quiet. It only reaches 40dB at full power and 25dB in silent mode, which is almost inaudible.

Users wishing to both ventilate and purify their interior can turn to the AcerPure Cool launched at €370. 2-1 device, it creates a flow of purified air over a distance of 12 m and would be able to sanitize an area of 45 m². The hybrid has a head similar to that of a fan, which allows it to move horizontally or vertically.

To sanitize interiors, the AcerPure Cool draws in ambient air, treats it and expels fresh, filtered air. In order to fulfill its mission, it is equipped with a HEPA Plus+ filter which can, according to Acer, capture four types of particles and pollutants: bacteria, particles (such as dust, animal hair and odors), allergens and PM1.0, as well as some viruses such as coronavirus (229E) and influenza A (H1N1).

An LCD screen located on the front of the device provides several indications, in particular on the quality of the ambient air. For more details, the user can install the AcerPure Life app and in particular consult the progress of sanitation. The app also allows him to turn on the device remotely and choose the purification, ventilation or both functions at the same time. The first mode has five speeds, while the second has 10. Acer also provides an automatic mode: the AcerPure Cool then automatically adjusts its execution speed according to the air quality. One less burden for the user.

The AcerPure Pro completes this new range. This model strives to purify indoor air without ventilating it. This purifier has the same advantages as the AcerPure Cool, such as a HEPA Plus+ filter, connectivity thanks to the AcerPure Life app and the possibility of activating silent mode. It obviously benefits from a more advantageous price placement, since it is offered at a price of 300 €.

If the AcerPure range blows a breath of fresh air for the Taiwanese manufacturer, the purifiers are more recommended for people with allergies. Ventilating your interior regularly remains the best solution for renewing the air.
