Achiko: Unaudited Ebitda loss of $8.3 million in 2021

Zurich (awp) – Achiko has once again postponed the publication of its 2021 annual results. The Indonesian company listed on SIX, however, published some unaudited data on Friday evening.

The provisional turnover amounts to 63,000 dollars and the company shows an Ebitda loss of 8.3 million dollars, after a loss of 14.2 million in 2020. The operating loss amounts to 9, 4 (-14.1) million dollars.

Achiko specifies that the loss of 2021 is explained by the continuation of investments in the marketing of AptameX and this in a demanding operational environment. However, significant cost savings were achieved in the 2nd half of 2021.

The regulatory authority of SIX (SER), granted a fourth delay to Achiko for the publication of its annual accounts. The final and audited figures will be revealed until June 20 at the latest.

Normally, the annual accounts must be published within four months after the end of the financial year, ie at the end of April. To explain the postponements, Achiko highlighted the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
