ACI Europe: Armando Brunini (SEA Milan Airports) elected president – 06/28/2023 at 16:08


(AOF) – The professional association of European airports, ACI Europe (Airports Council International), announces that it has elected Armando Brunini, CEO of SEA Milan Airports, as its president, replacing Javier Marín, executive vice-president of the Spanish group of Aena airports, elected in 2021 then re-elected in 2022. In a context characterized by “volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity”, the role of ACI Europe “has never been so important,” said Armando Brunini.

A graduate of the University of Naples, Armando Brunini managed Bologna airport from 2007 to 2013 then Naples airport from 2013-2019 before taking over as head of Milan airports. He was elected as a director of ACI Europe for the first time in 2012.

ACI Europe held its general assembly yesterday as part of its 33rd annual congress in Barcelona.
