The brand new map unveiled shows that only Île-de-France, Mayotte and Guyana appear in orange. The rest of the country appears in green.
"Four indicators are now used to measure the epidemic in France with the incidence, first of all, that is to say the rate of positive cases in the population. Today it is 6.14 positive tests per 100,000 inhabitants. In Ile-de-France, the level of circulation of the virus explains a higher rate. " Olivier Véran, Minister of Health.
"We have the capacity to screen each symptomatic person and all contacts at risk (…). More than 80% of PCR tests are performed in less than 36 hours. The slightest hesitation should lead you to contact your doctor. has fewer patients circulating on the national territory and fewer close contact cases than what we had anticipated. A positive serological test should absolutely not change your behavior. You can still infect other people without knowing it. .) Serology does not replace a PCR test. ", He explains then.
