(AOF) – Actia Group informs that the work carried out for the sale of its Power division, specializing in the electrification of vehicles, to Plastic Omnium, has been completed. The next few weeks will be devoted to finalizing the legal documentation and lifting minor conditions precedent with a view to achieving a “closing” in mid-summer. This disposal allows Actia to place its Power division in the pursuit of a long-term industrial project and to focus its efforts on on-board electronics serving mobility and energy management.
The resources resulting from the sale will be used to reduce Actia’s debt by approximately 50 million euros.
As a reminder, Actia had concluded a first transaction on April 21, 2022 concerning the sale of the Technical Inspection & Garage Equipment activity to the BASE Group, for an amount of 12 million euros.
These two transactions strengthen the financial structure of Actia, which still aims to achieve, within 4 years and independently of these transactions, a turnover of more than 800 million euros.
“The backing of the Actia Power division to the Plastic Omnium Group will allow the teams to continue their development within the Clean Energy Systems division. Work remains to be done to finalize this integration successfully, but the two family groups are committed to the firm will to make this industrial project a reality,” says Jean-Louis PECH, Chairman and CEO of Actia Group.
