There are many different approaches to saving electricity at home. Above all, devices that you only use rarely or at certain times, but which still run around the clock, are ideal. However, not all of them can be easily switched off; for example, the refrigerator must of course run at the same constant temperature at night as it does during the day so that the food stays fresh.
The situation is different with Internet routers, for example. Many people only use the Internet during the day and evening, but not at night. While sleeping, the router usually runs without the WLAN being used at all.

Just go to the settings your FritzBox and select the tab WLAN > time switchactivate.
Here you can now set individual days of the week and periods of time in which the WLAN is switched off according to your personal daily routine. Above all, it is of course advisable to deactivate the WLAN overnight in a time window in which you and all other users of the WLAN access are sleeping.
What you should note, however, is that devices that are otherwise connected to the WLAN are of course no longer connected overnight. This can be a hindrance for any updates, for example. So if you have an eye on these devices, trigger the updates manually or set the devices to only update in the WLAN.
