From Friday to Monday, the citizens of the communities Birgitz, Götzens, Grinzens, Axams, Thaur, Hall, Absam, Rum and Mils were asked to voluntarily undergo a PCR test. “As part of this campaign, around 2420 tests were carried out, to date there have been three positive test results, of which at least two cases, according to the current state of knowledge, are suspected of the delta mutation variant,” said a broadcast from the country. In total there are currently 19 actively positive suspected delta mutations in Tyrol.
