Activision Blizzard chief commercial officer to step down ahead of Microsoft takeover

According to the Bloomberg site, Frances Townsend will leave her post well before the takeover of Activision Blizzard King for 68 billion dollars is effective.

As a reminder, it was she who had split a missive which had put the employees upwind following the revelations of cases of harassment and discrimination within the company. She was then talking about “irresponsible lawsuit without any basis” and “distorted, factually incorrect stories taken out of context”.

Judge “odious and insulting”, his statement had gathered against him more than a thousand outraged employees out of the 9,500 that Activision then had. He had even sparked protests outside the head office, along with other executives speaking out trying to play down the affair.

Frances Townsend then relayed on her Twitter account an article from The Atlantic entitled The Problem With Whistleblowing (the problem with whistleblowing/whistleblowing), again creating outrage from Activision Blizzard King employees. Taken to task on Twitter, she then blocked certain employees before deleting her Twitter account.
