Activision Blizzard: Sony is afraid that Microsoft is sabotaging Call of Duty on PlayStation

Over a year ago now, Microsoft announced the acquisition of the group Activision-Blizzard and all its licenses. Quickly, the manufacturer of Xbox declared that he did not intend to deprive the playstation of these games, it must be said that the call of duty are ultra popular on the consoles of sony.

But the Japanese firm obviously does not look favorably on this takeover, regularly explaining that competition would be undermined if it were validated by the various bodies. In a document sent to the CMA English, sony fears that Microsoft does not sabotage versions of call of duty on playstation :

Microsoft could release a PlayStation version of Call of Duty where bugs and errors only show up at the final level of the game or after later updates. Even if such degradations could be detected quickly, any remedy would likely come too late, by which time the gaming community would have lost faith in PlayStation as the go-to place to play Call of Duty. Indeed, as Modern Warfare II attests, Call of Duty is most often bought in the first weeks of its release. If it became known that the game’s performance on PlayStation was worse than on Xbox, Call of Duty players might decide to switch to Xbox for fear of playing their favorite game in a second-rate or less competitive version.

sony details and explains that the versions playstation of call of duty may be deprived of certain controller-related features DualSensesuch as haptic feedback, or even suffer from a lack of investment in the multiplayer experience. The Japanese manufacturer obviously does not let gowhich is far from over.
