In a tweet, the actress asks a director to "apologize" for what she went through as a minor.

"You made me sit down and showed me a soft-core porn movie (suggestive and erotic but not explicit) that you shot for Showtime under a nickname. I still remember your apartment in Silverlake. You are very well hung. Then you dropped me off on a street corner. I was 15. "Rose McGowan wrote. "I want him to recognize what he did and apologize. I don't want to destroy anything," she added.

This testimony was revealed Monday, August 17 on the social networks of the actress. Rose McGowan would thus have been dealing with sexual misconduct (so named by the magazine Newsweek, which is behavior that constitutes a less serious offense than aggravated sexual assault), almost thirty-five years ago. The man in question is Alexander Payne, director of Sideways and The Descendants, the two Oscar winners for best adapted screenplay. The latter has yet to respond to the charges.

These facts happened right after he arrived in Los Angeles. The actress lived a more than complicated childhood and she was able to obtain her emancipation, leave her family and settle on the West Coast of the United States.

Let's not forget that Rose McGowan is the ambassador of the #MeToo movement. She had, in October 2017, been among the first to accuse Harvey Weinstein of rape. This publicized producer, was then targeted by several other charges, was convicted of rape and sexual assault and sentenced in March to twenty-three years in prison.
